I changed dynamic channel width from best to 20Mhz and this seems to have solved my problem. Thanks for the suggestions.

If it's an 'in air' issue, it could be anything from changing channels, interference, radio resets, or just plain old Windows being dumb about life (and anything in between). Can you ping the virtual IP of the WLC (192.0.2.1, or whatever it's set to)? How reproducible/common is it?
