I've been a lurker on this list for a while until today. Now, I've got a problem, and I'm curious to see if anyone has a solution.
Here is my topology... Orinoco OR <-> Cisco 340 Wireless Bridge (BR340) <-> LAN The Orinoco OR is set for AP mode. I have tried setting the 340 to bridge mode and access point mode, neither makes a difference in the problem. It is set to non-root, running firmware 8.65.2 >From the 340 I can ping the Orinoco device and anything past it, all the way to the internet. However nothing on that side can ping the 340, neither can anything on the LAN access anything past the 340. When I go to Statistics | Map | All, I can see the MAC address of the Orinoco device it's associated. But if I go to Statistics | Throughput, the Radio Receive columns don't change, the Radio Transmit columns do show traffic however. I've tried playing with almost all of the settings on both the 340 and the OR to no avail. I'm hoping you can provide me with some sound advice. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of problem, or can anyone even venture a guess? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. -ny ________________________________________ Nathan Yack IT Consultant Communications Technology Group C.H.
