I recently went wireless in my home office using my laptop with a Linksys
wireless network card and a Linksys Wireless Access Point (WAP 11 ver. 2.2)
hooked up to my Linksys DSL/cable router.
It took me a couple of nights, but I finally got it working. Now, I want to
extend signal coverage to my house, which is about 300 feet away from the
WAP. When I carried my laptop up to the house, I did get some signal
readings of around 20 percent in different parts of the house, but I'd like
to boost it if possible, so the DSL connection can be shared.
I was told at the store where I bought the equipment that I could try
configuring another WAP with the same settings as the first one and use it
as a relay, repeater station by leaving it plugged in positioned in a window
of my house.
Has anyone tried this with succes? I'm also wondering if there's another
antenna I could hook up to the WAP to boost signal gain.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
