Hi. Newbie here. Can someone spare me a clue?

In principle, my wireless connection ought to act just like the wired
LAN it's attached to, right? (We're talking about a WAP11 v2.2
talking to an Airport-equipped iBook, running 10.1.4, maybe six feet
away.)

For the most part it works great, but I'm seeing two anomalies when
I'm operating wireless, both of which have been consistent for about
a week, and both of which vanish as soon as I plug the old RJ-45 back
into the iBook:

1) Eudora (5.1.1b23 for OS X) won't send email to my Well account...
gets to the DATA statement and just hangs there. It downloads mail
from a couple of POP accounts just fine, but the Well account is my
only outbound SMTP.

2) Web browsing is fine except, for whatever reason, on
www.netflix.com... where both IE5.1 and Opera 5 both hang partway
through the initial page load.

Again, both of these problems go away as soon as I go back to a hard
connection.

I didn't have a lot of theories to start with, and now I'm fresh out.
Any suggestions what might be up here? Thanks!
