I have a DSL connection in my home office, which is about 300 feet away from my house.
I have the DSL modem hooked up to a Linksys Cable/DSL router, which has enabled me to
have two computers wired up to the connection.
Now I'm trying to go wireless. I recently purchased a Linksys WSP 11 version 2.2 and
Linksys Wireless PC Network Card WPC 11 version 3.
After messing around with the configurations for a couple of nights, I finally got the
wireless hookup to work with my laptop.
Now, I want to extend the DSL signal across the road to my house. When I brought the
laptop outside, the signal starts degrade at around 200 feet.
Inside the house, I sometimes get a very weak signal. It seems to vary with the
weather.
I'm wondering if I could bridge my Linksys WSP 11 version 2.2 with another Linksys WSP
11 version 2.2
stationed in a window of the house. How would I hookd that up. From looking at
diagrams on the Linksys Web site, it looks
I would hook up a hub/switch to a computer in the house, and then hook up the second
WAP to the switch.
How would I configure the WAPs to work in bridge mode? Would this help extend the
signal, or should I just break down and pay for a second DSL line?
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
T.H. Clemens
