Hello all-

I've got a Linksys WAP11 which I recently upgraded to firmware 1.4i.1, and
the USB & SNMP Tools version 1.7d.2.9. The USB tool works fine, but I can't
get the SNMP tool to work! I can ping the WAP11, and the wireless LAN works
fine.

Here's what I've tried so far:
Using both Win2k & WinXP
Setting a new IP in the WAP11
Setting IP back to default for the unit
Resetting the Read only & Read/Write passwords
Using SNMPmanager V1.7.4.3 from Atmel
Connecting via wireless and ethernet
Ethernet with crossover
hmmm, anything else?

Strange things:
If I connect with the correct read/write string, I get "Access Point not
found" with both the Linksys tool and the Atmel tool.

If I connect with an incorrect password, the Linksys tool gives me "Not an
authorized Password. Please check." and the Atmel tool gives me "802.11 AP
(Ver. 1.4i.1) <SSID> found" then "You are not an authorized user. Check your
community name".

Anyway, I've changed the community strings with no successful results. If
anyone has seen this or can give me any idea what could be happening, I
would appreciate it!!
