The D-Link DCF-650W seems to have a connector.  I'm not familiar with
any teeny-weenie coax connectors, so I won't waste anybody's time by
guessing what kind of connector it might be.

Yes.  Both the Linksys WCF11 and D-Link DCF-650W are known to work
"out of the box".
