Has anyone tried the 3com "x-jack" wifi card[1]? The collapsing antenna looks neat in theory; is it sturdy enough to be practical, and what kind of range does it get? Also, if anyone knows the chipset in these cards, and if they're supported by linux, I'd like to know.
