I read yesterday in a european publication that there are 99 commercial WLAN networks
in 23
countries representing 3400 hotspots worldwide. Does anyone know of a source for these
type metrics either in the US or worldwide?

It's unclear with these numbers came from, so I'd like to see what a trusted source
reports.

Thanks,
