I've finally bought myself a Visor Prism to go with my Minstrel S modem. Next up is an 802 springboard.
1) Does Xircom have any competition? 2) Are they that new that I should be having this much trouble on eBay? 3) Does anyone have any pointers to *decent* software I could use with the module for the purpose of doing basic diagnosis of already installed wireless networks? Or has someone done PocketStumbler? (Love that Warwalking, eh? War-bicycling?) --- On an unrelated topic, I see from Sifry's Alerts that they've abandoned their revenue-sharing idea for Sputnik. From what I can see, that sort of erases the Unique Selling Proposition for talking potential hotspots into the idea. Someone tell me why I'm wrong, since David apparently doesn't follow his own comment boards... Cheers, -- jra -- Jay R.
