The Linksys WUSB is really really poor when it comes to receive sensitivity. Have you tried the range of your Netgear adapter? I know the Orinoco/Avaya PCCARD will you get you much better range than the Linksys WUSB. Note that if you have too long a cable from the WAP11 to the antenna, the cable either gets fairly expensive or you get too much attenuation with a cheaper cable. A small and fairly cheap patch antenna on the WUSB may improve things quite a bit - it does require you to take the WUSB apart, but I hear it's doable. // Rolf -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
