John-
Actually, I'm the one with 75' of LMR-400 on each end, and I'm still having
issues. I think it's the antennas, though (15.4 dbi omnis) so I'm waiting on a smaller
5dbi omni for testing and local purposes. I am, however, leaning towards shortening
this to more like 5' on each end and running cat5. The major issue I have with this is
the location of the WAP. I live in Texas, where I have concerns about operating
temperatures. On a nice, sunny, horridly hot summer day here, the temps can get as
high as 110f. In my attic, I've seen temps as hot as 125-130 degrees. (I was curious,
so I bought one of those radio shack radio-transmitting thermometers). This is almost
outside of the operating specs for the Linksys WAP11, so I'm trying to reconcile with
myself sticking this equipment in that heat. Does anyone have any temperature survival
stories to make me feel more comfortable with this?
Thanks,

Wow. 75 feet of cable on each end? WAP11 v1.1? With CR31 tweaked
to what value? And what sort of antennas?
