It's been I while since my EE days but I must agree with Daniel on this one. Sounds like you are in somewhat of a Faraday Cage, like they use in MRI scanner labs and CIA buildings to keep out RF signals. The walls are probably grounded as well, which is not a good thing to do with the signal conductor part of your coax lead. I also wonder if the reflective attributes of the panels would add some nasty multi-path interference an AP inside the room. Good luck with it. David
