How much time will you spend researching vendor solutions? On the ordering
process? Going to Airborne to pick up the package because they got the city
wrong?
**************
I spent no time, since they got it right the first time and it came to the
door.
****************
The Research time was quite a bit, some of it here on this list, but this is
a pleasure.
***********
The actual selection was very easy, once I understood enough to know I
wanted / needed an external antenna with Gain , I looked on Ebay and found
what I needed for less than $50.00
It came with mounting hardware connectors pigtails...

The Comercially available antennas seem to be consistent in their
performance and I do not need to invest in all that testing.
Also How much does it cost to get your PCA1000 Fcc approved?

How much time will you spend researching vendor solutions? On the ordering
process? Going to Airborne to pick up the package because they got the city
wrong?

ca. $75-150 USD

You can put your pringles can antenna in a PVC enclosure.

No pain, no gain. :-)

Go buy some rub-on lettering and put PCA-1000 on the PVC enclosure. There,
you've turn trash into margin.
