Well, I suppose that would depend on how hazardous the resultant flatulence
might be to your neighbors if you were let loose with the wrong ingredients.

The real issue is (or at least should be, though our government might not
always be so constrained) this: Can you mess up the daily lives of other
people, whether knowingly or not?

Make yourself dinner, fine. Give it to friends and family who know you well
enough to trust you, fine. Give it to the public in general (commercially or
not), not necessarily so fine. And radio waves are a different ballgame, as
they have a tendency of spreading beyond your home.

Of course, _I_ think that I should be able to get an injunction against my
neighbors -- after all, they smoke outdoors 20 feet from my back door with
the prevailing winds bringing the smoke through my back yard and in my door,
and it's been scientifically established that secondhand smoke is a major
health hazard, so...

Whereas if they wanted to drink heavily and I just happened to smell
alcohol, I wouldn't care, right?

But I digress. ;-P
