You can always go for a non-integrated solution such as: 1. Camera with TCP/IP network video server (i.e. Axis Webcam) 2. Wireless Access Point or Bridge (i.e. Linksys WAP11)
With the individual components, you can be very flexible on the wireless link. This will allow you to overcome any shortfalls with distance, interference, etc. I've been experimenting with various methods of sending wireless video. So far, individual components is the only solution to offer the flexibility needed in diverse wireless deployments. -Mike -- Mike Outmesguine www.TransStellar.com - and - www.SOCALWUG.org -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Robb Greathouse Sent: Tuesday, October 08, 2002 3:15 PM To: 'Wireless List' Subject: [BAWUG] Wireless Camera Does anyone know of a camera that is 802.11 enabled? Or a cheep way to wirelessly enable a camera for 802.11. I tried X-10, but it did not have the range or the resistance to interference that is required for this application. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
