Science.
Don Hoffman will give an overview (Although given the current state of
Teledesic, perhaps a bit more of a retrospective) of the design and
characteristics of the various satellite network services. In addition to
a general overview, he will focus in detail on the Teledsic
(www.teledesic.com) and ICO (www.ico.com) systems, for which he served as
principal network architect for several years.
