I have been looking for a long time for a site that had a "used" classifieds section for wireless equipment and have come up empty. So, I though that it would be a good idea to have a place where people in the wireless "movement" (more like deluge) could post their excess equipment for sale to others that are building WISP's and Community Wireless Networks at fair prices, that way we can 1. Get rid of what we don't need and 2. Find equipment that we can use at reasonable prices. This section of the site is not moderated but closely watched for ad "spammers" and abusers. Anyone caught breaking the "rules" will be banned from using it. So......
I have added a classifieds section to my site for the listing of wireless and related equipment. You must register and be a Wisp owner or CWN member in order to post. This page is only for listing extra equipment you have laying around and is not for resellers or MFG's to list their products. Any wireless gear or system parts or even old computers that can be used to build AP's are fine. Basically just keep it within reason and everyone will be happy. Lastly, transactions are between individuals and I will not be held liable for illegal behavior so if you post an item make sure that it is in working order and that your ad really represents what you are selling. And make sure you come through with your payments as this will make everyone mad and make having this type of service very difficult to maintain.
