Here's the deal... I have cable modem internet. I have the modem connected to a linksys BEFW11S4 wireless rounter/access point. everything works fine. My neighbor who lives behind me, about 250' with line of site, would like to share my access. He could simply buy a wireless nic connected to a cantenna, but he would like to hook up an access point at his place to he can have multiple connections in his house. So, will a Linksys WAP11 work on his side? Will it talk properly with the BEFW11S4? Or does he need some other hardware configuration?
