Saw this on Cory's site...

It is a credit-card size RF sniffer. Unless it has some "smarts"
on board it will likely will fire off on anything including portable
phones that operate in 2.4 GHz.

Wi-Fi Sniffer (Model WFS-1)

Is Wi-Fi access available?

Wi-Fi administrators can now:

   * Detect the range and accessability of your wireless LAN
   * Ideal for planning your network access

Wardrivers can:

   * Detect areas where you can have access
   * Wi-Fi Sniffer operates independently of your laptops

Wi-Fi Sniffer, WFS-1, detects Wi-Fi availability by the press of a
button. No longer do you have to boot up your laptop or walk around
with your laptop turned on, hence reducing the risk of hard drive
crashes. Pressing the button on the Wi-Fi Sniffer will tell you
whether access is available.
