Linksys wireless Router and WaveCom Audio video tranceiver

i have been recently experimenting with a wireless audio video sender that works at 2.4 Ghz. when i first hooked the system up i was getting alot of interference from my 802.11b and not to mention my 2.4 Ghz Vtech phones. i have never had a problem with the phones and my WLAN but the second i powered up the AV sender i got a fuzzy picture on my TV and lost my wireless connection, after monkeying around with my Linksys wireless router i found that the optimal configuration was Channel 11 on the router and "channel 4" on the AV sender it seems that the channels dont really mean much on the AV sender and i figure after my experiment that they 4 "channels" are located around the center of the 2.4 Ghz band. totally scrambled at channel 6 WLAN and Channel 2 WaveCom. in any case the WaveCom signal is really messy. If any one else has had any insight into these things a post would be appreiciated.

I am thinking about downgrading to a 900Mhz AV system to avoid the conflict.
