If you don't have much regulation, I wouldn't bother with 802.11, the overhead is pretty high. Are you looking for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint? Proxim (www.proxim.com) acquired a company called Western Multiplex. They make some nice radios. If you go to the Proxim website, check out the Tsunami product line. They have equipment that works up to 23GHz and can setup custom frequencies.
