In our small town, we have 2 major 802.11b "circuits." Both are multi-nodes. One is actually a CISCO-based circuit, and the other is an open-architecture implementation.
The latter is fixed, using channels 1, 6, and 11. The Cisco system "roams", looking for a clear frequency range. There has been a rash of slow communications, etc, in the last few weeks. One suggestion was to fix the CISCO system to a fixed channel. Will this help? Thanks in advance. -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
