Why is this location noteworthy? because: (a) it's about 50 feet outside the 12th Street BART station (exit via escalator or elavatorat far NW corner, near the Lost & Found office), 12 minutes from downtown SF. (b) It's got this incredible oval-shaped 6-story gargantuan Rotunda in it! http://www.givememore.com/rotunda.html A very nice, quiet space for getting work done, or just popping in for a dose of access... they don't build spaces like this anymore, and the historic preservation is well-done. On Fridays there's a crafts market out front, next to City Hall. Lots of additional cheap+good lunch spots in the vicinity as well.
