Where can I get your mesh software?

Scott,

We've already started a "Global organization" and we've been working on
it for about a year and a half now.

This difference is, our "global organization" is FREE.

I would rather have it FREE, and not pay ANY fee to anyone (nor have it
regulated by any one person).

We already have about 89,000 nodes globally. It's not as easy as you
may seem to think to start a "global co-op". We've developed special
"mesh" software so users can connect to the network peer to peer, and
transfer files, and the software aggregates the bandwidth of the
network. So if there was a 1.5Mbps DSL connection, and 1.5Mbps Cable
modem, and 1.5Mbps T-1 connection on the same network, it would
aggregate the bandwidth, so you could download at 4.5Mbps. The software
also handles bandwidth throttling as well.

It doesn't make sense to start another organization, and try to create
"another" (incompatible) global network. Instead of trying to start yet
ANOTHER wireless group, why not join our efforts? Please let me know
where you are located (what state/country), and if you are interested, I
can make you a regional contact/manager of that area.

There are no "centralized servers" or "commercial company". Everything
is done peer to peer, and the authentication servers are of a gnutella
type. It's all stuff that we're working on.

          Mark

P.S. If anyone is interested in helping with the effort (either with
development, or just as a local regional contact/manager) please send me
an E-mail off-list with your skills, qualifications, and experience (and
area/region in which you live).
