Couple of alternatives that spring to mind:
A) Dialpad has a pretty comprehensive service, that relies on whatever audio
processing gear you have on your PC
B) Vonage (or vonnage) has a *wonderful* VoIP SOHO gateway that'll plug
right into your endpoint. They'll even do the LNP for your home # so that
you can maintain it with some killer calling plans.

I'm not affiliated with either company, but I used to know a lot about the
VoIP marketplace...
