What's your power level out of the AP? The UK limit is 100 mW ... and there's no points for using higher-gain antennas and lower-power radios, like in the US. So, if you're using say 30 mW with high-gains you might still be over ... but I have to wonder who is going to notice, since your signal is so highly directed... they'd have to be between you and the other end pretty much.

Also gotta wonder about your speed ... if you're using g OK, but is a legal in UK yet?

When u say illegal, how illegal is it?

I can't seem to get a straight answer on what to do about this and if
anyone will get interruption due to my link?

Has anyone got contact details for the people I should contact with
regard to this?

My Antenna is 15db
The AP is about 15db I think (same at both ends) all I want is a
connection over the 2 miles at 11mps minimum and hopefully 18 mbps

I don't want to upset anyone and I also don't want to break any laws
either.
I just want to use this technology to provide a stable link

Richy

P.S. if I am "over powered" how easy is it to drop the output gain
without damaging the input sensitivity?

Which sounds very illegal unless you have some serious attenuation between the access points and antennae. Let's hope the RA don't read this list!
