About 3 weeks ago I posed a question on this forum about a wireless bridge. I have set up a wireless bridge using two Linksys WAP11's over a 10 mile link using a couple 24dBi antennas that I am certain have the proper height needed. The connection functions, but is painfully slow. Several people responded stating they believed it was a timing issue that is probably not correctable using simple devices like the WAP11's.
So I have decided to purchase new bridge units, but I am hoping someone can recommend some good units for me. Cost is a strong factor since this link is for a small school district to get decent internet speed to a school in a very small community that has only dial-up available. I was hoping someone may have some experience with this device http://www.hyperlinktech.com/web/h-soho.php as it is within our budget and from the product description, it appears will do the job we need. If anyone has any other reasonably priced bridges they have had good luck with, I would like to hear about those too.
