In general, both B and G products will do the job for you. There are a few
differences, as far as I believe. WIth B you may expect between 4 and 5 Mbps
in netperf performance. With G up to 17-18.

1) Cost slightly more (which is not a concern for you)
2) Most G can speak B but B can not speak G. So if you have plenty of B
nodes around  you can force your device to go G but not the reverse.

I would go G but carefully evaluate vendors.
