It should be grounded to an earth ground for lightning protection. Common sources are via the cold water pipes or better, a ground rod driven into the ground.
Most data centers should have a good ground source avail, as it is required for many types of power conditioning equipment, air handlers, etc. Last resort is to use the green grounding wire in the ac outlet. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nick Mitchell Sent: Wednesday, July 09, 2003 11:12 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [BAWUG] DC Injector Grounding I have a Power-Over-Coax DC injector for our amp on the tower. And it has a grounding screw to ground it out in-line to the radio. This is in our Datacenter with the Orinoco radio. Is there a device that can ground the DC injector into a 120v electrical outlet or do I need an electrician to come in and set something up for me? Any suggestions are appreciated.
