I am trying to read the snr levels of remote clients connected to an AP-1000. I wrote a perl script to snmp walk the AP and get the MAC, Station Name, and a value that is not in dbi units. The number that I get is the same number that shows up when you do a link test using the Orinoco SNMP utility (Some percentage). Does anyone know how I can use that value and convert it to dbi rather than a percentage??? I noticed that the dbi value is roughly half of percentage value...very rough. Any advice would be great.
