There are a few of us down in Santa Cruz, and we have been meaning to 
get a network running.  The project (thirdbreak.org) is on hold while 
the status of a city partnered wireless project was still getting 
things done.  Those folks seem to have disappeared and if they are not 
back by fall I will probably start things up again in santa cruz.
