I am in Bernal Heights, facing San Bruno Mountain, and have perfect line-of-sight to the towers.
I am using a cantenna on my back deck, aimed directly at the towers. I am about 3.5 miles from the towers. I am picking up many wireless routers and such, so I know the equipment is working. Is there any reason I shouldn't be able to see the San Bruno node under these circumstances? Is there no public AP up there?
