Hello Mike and All, I built this server, it seems working fine and getting the certificate be installed on station notebook.
However, I have few problem and question: On some systems with WinXP Pro SP1, after I installed the certificate on it, set Wireless LAN properties ... etc. Every is fine, at the point authenticating, I get (bottom right - Network Mini icon), it appears - It fails (System 2): "Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network - AP_SSID" It should appears as - It's Correct (System 1) : "Click here to select a certificate or other credentials for connection..." Do you have any suggestion to help me please Question: On the client system, where is the location (directory) of the certificate which has been installed? Thanks and regards, Very appreciate your help Timolthy > > Hello, > > > > Hopefully that you can receive this email. > > > > I access to URL: > > > http://www.cs.umd.edu/~mvanopst/8021x/howto/server.html > > > > and I followed your direction up to page 7 of 12 > > (printed out) - where is said: > > > > -Click on the Start Button -> Programs -> > > Administrative Tools -> Active Directory Users and > > Computers > > Right-click on your active directory domain, and > > select Properties > > > > - Select the Group Policy tab, ensure that the > Default > > Domain Policy is highlighted, and click Edit. > > > > @ I did to this point - but... > > > > - Under Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings > -> > > Security Settings -> Public Key Policies, > right-click > > Automatic Certificate Request Settings, Select > New, > > then Automatic Certificate Request. > > > > @ I did not see the "Automatic Certificate > Request > > Settings." subtree, all I see is: > > > > Under Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings > -> > > Security Settings -> Public Key Policies, > > < Enterprise Trust > > > > > Please walk me to install "Automatic Certificate > > Request Settings" under "Public Key Policies" > > subtree. > > > > Thank you very much. > > > > I tried to install the Radius server using Windows > > 2000 Server. - I did totally fresh install Windows > > 2000 Server.
