I have yet to find anyone who had had great luck with 802.11b and FHSS 2.4GHz phones. Your best bet is to purchase a 5GHz or 900MHz phone, or move the wifi to 5GHz and buy the siemens 2.4GHz gigaset.
Of course, there's also another solution: Throw out your 2.4 GHz telephone, and do all your 'telephony' over WiFi
