We haven't confirmed that the vendor is actually transmitting on the adjacent channel, and the reason why the beacons are seen could be due to the channel overlap. Although, we have also seen beacons beyond the channel overlap as well. Most likely due to poor selectivity of the receiver (or is it sensitivity I always confuse these).

Should an AP be broadcasting beacon frames on a channel other than the one it's radio has been configured to use? For example, if my radio is set to use channel 1, should I see beacon frames from that radio on channel 11?
