There's some flaws in you plan... let me point them out. I think you will find that MCD's would be rather displeased with a party of 40+. There's alot of vegetarians in the BAWUG so eating is out of the question for a large part of the group (my self included). Setting up a LCD projector, wireless mic system and a camera for streaming in a MCDs is probably also out of the question.
The reason we haven't had a BAWUG meeting is no one has offered a viable space. It's not as simple as a bunch of people deciding to meet in a fast food restaurant. If you have a place then offer it.
