I'm looking for someone with experience with this setup, and possibly with a crimping tool and a bit of spare kindness.
I've ordered a PAWDC-24 die-cast aluminum parabolic from PacWireless (http://www.pacwireless.com/PAWDCA-24.pdf) and because of the element I'm using, it has only an N Female connector on it. The sales engineer told me that LMR-400 with an N Male will not fit through the reflector and I need to use an LMR-240 pigtail. Does anyone have experience with this setup and know whether I have to attach the connectors to the pigtail after I thread the LMR-240 through the reflector, or if the LMR-240 N connector will fit through it and I can just buy a 2' pigtail pre-made? And if I do have to attach the connectors myself, is there anybody in the Palo Alto area who would be so kind enough to let me drop by with some parts and crimp it together?
