Does anyone make 18" pigtails that do not use 100 series cable? Hyperlink, Fabcorp and everyone on eBay sells their 18" pigtails with 100 series cable. It looks like Netgate does as well from their pictures. Is 100 series cable preferable when selecting a pigtail because of it's flexibility? It seems to me that it doesn't make sense to use a pigtail made from 100 series cable between the radio and a bulkhead connector, then use 400 series cable from there to the antenna. Is 18" not long enough to worry about loss, or is there a better solution?
