Yes, I found this to be true in spite of much yearning for it to be different and much research. What I'd like to find is the lowest-loss solution for going from MMCX to LMR-195 or LMR-400. An adapter that went between cable series without the loss that comes from using SMA connectors to do the job. I'd also like to find some sort of rotary joint, for strain relief of cables used in portable environments.
