These are one way, satellite antennas (i.e. down converter, no transverter). This will not work on so many levels.

hello folks. i've recently come into the possession of 2 18" dss
dishes. hence i have the associated curiosity if I can connect to a an
existing wifi point from union city. i know its far, but I do have line
of sight to peninsula as I am at the base of the foothills where
dumbarton bridge deadends into mission blvd.

is there any hope? i would need an equivalent antenna on the other side
in order to go that far wouldn't i? i wish i was up on the hill so i
could be an access point for east bay folks, but i'm probably not line
of sight for most people around me...

i have a gps but i haven't found the coordinates of san bruno or
anything else that i might be able to see. i guess i could drive over
there, but there must be a nice guide someplace.

thank you and any advice welcome

jason
