ah yes this is true.  i was thinking i would have to put a different
deal in place of the lnb.  i saw some diagrams of biquad which didn't
look too hard to make.

as for suitability, what i don't understand very well is receiving
signal.  i've seen the transmit diagrams for dipoles and biquads and
that sort of makes sense, but i'm not sure how receiving works.  IE: if
san bruno has a little dipole on it, how much area do i need to receive
at distance X?
