I want to get DSL access from a network nearby to my office. Both are 10/100baseT networks. I have 2 airports (Graphite and Snow), and a LinkSys BESR41 router that are available for use in this scenario.
I want to have the Graphite Airport do simple Ethernet-to-wireless translation, and the Snow Airport to do the inverse translation as well as DHCP, NAT, and PPoE duties for my LAN.
Is this possible? Some people I ask say things like if I assign identical SSIDs, WEP pw's, and MAC addresses for the connected computers, but assign unique channels to each Airport, it should work. I have such little experience (and a bit more understanding) that it's not gonna happen without a bit more understanding (on my part) and instruction (on some generous soul's part).
Any comments or suggestions anyone has pull from the collective experience would be greatly appreciated.
