Speaking of billboard passive reflectors. I setup a client once who was right next to a billboard facing, pretty much, directly at our client. Our AP antenna (1/2-3/4 mi away) was to the left of the billboard, which is only about 200' away, level with the antenna. Our local WISP competitor has an AP almost directly behind the antenna about 1/2 mile away. If we pointed the antenna (24dBi dish) at the billboard edge we picked up our competitors AP good and strong, just a few degrees to the left of the billboard we didn't pick up our competitor at all, but ours came in great. - -- Jason Straight [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] SkyCon Networks phone: (231)627-3528 http://www.skycon.net/ ICQ: 1796276 pgp: http://www.jeetkunedomaster.net/~junfan/pgp.key -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iQCVAwUBQAhIXhFHZPcobeHxAQJ/+QP/fNmESANaVlEikUhOw/KsYWoyn1xJ3cGX DNhaFnW4xd07CC2SznJFDVBJJUWbsMfucApVzc7FsCUQvYr2JYuzaAaSC0x9NDez WhAgtbJwF/KjEJ/PuMWjDIJig+1AGuskHYjFjDXmSaC7N9z70C9H8Q6RCqMeEoCT eRiGYsdD8Gw= =yc2H -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
