I have a problem, if I cable direct into my modem I
get regular latency to wherever I ping. When I put a wireless router/adaptors
into the equation I get a time-out or very high ping every 60 seconds. This
happens on the minute every minute and the link is regular other than
that.
After testing I have found this to be the same when
using a BenQ AWL700 OR a Linksys WRT54G from the cable modem, also the network
adaptors WMP54G and BenQ AWL300 from the PC. And finally, it occurs on 2
different PCs with any of the combinations. This basically rules out the
wireless products, however it implies that it is a problems that is wireless
based (the connection is fine over wire). It is not a connection quality problem
as the links are fine.
Any takers? This is doing my nut
in.
