We have cordless phones in the house, I disabled them and the base stations
and still get the problem. I dont think they use the same frequency anyway.

I live in a neighbourhood that is unlikey to have 2.4GHz phones, and there
are only a couple of houses within range.

Unfortunately I cant do the 300ft test, but to be honest I need to resolve
the issue where the PCs are located.

I do have a 9dBi directional, but its too much really and I dont have
detachable antennae.

I think I will just cable it. I am seeing my arse with wifi.
