We (my .I.T. staff) are newbies to wireless networks, and we are trying to
set up a point to multi-point connection with two Linksys WAP11's Ver. 2.8.
We have set up the Bridge as "Point to Multi-point" with a static IP and the
remote WAP's are "Bridge Client"'s with static IP's. They are all on the
same ESSID. The MAC address set in the remote WAP's is the MAC address for
the "Point to Multi-Point Bridge".

The Problem:
When setting up the system with the WAP's in close proximity, we get
reliable connection. When setting up in an industrial environment @ 100 feet
apart ... we get intermittent or no connection ...although when we set up
the (bridging) WAP to an "Access Point", all of our wireless devices
reliably connect throughout the plant. Does the "Bridge" need a stronger
antennae as opposed to a straight "Access Point"?

Please give some guidance on where we are going wrong in this setup...
