I've invested in three Linksys WAP11's Ver 2.8 to provide a "Point to Multi-point" wireless connection in a small industrial environment. I had some problems with the connection over ranges of 100 feet. I received some advice that Linksys may not have reliable antennas in my environment ... and that I should invest in Yagi antennas. My question is ... do I only need one antenna for the bridge or do I need an antenna on each of my "bridge clients"? ... and seeing as there is no device more than 250 feet away, what dBI do I need?
Any advice would be appreciated... ************************************** Kevin Clay MIS Manager, Corporate Systems/ Process Improvement Visioneering, Inc Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Phone # 586-293-1000 x207 Cell: 586-260-7760 Email my pager at [EMAIL PROTECTED] "If they ever come up with a swashbuckling school, I think one of the courses should be laughing, then jumping off something." - "A Deep Thought" ...
