In my case even the second AP aswell was connected to the Ethernet. The two APs with same ESSID and different Ethernet Connections. I feel the idea of one central root bridge[AP in bridge mode] and other client bridges may not be good. Because the outgoing traffic from all the APs would have to pass through the rootAP, theirby reducing the Bandwidth. So instead if each AP is connected to seperate ethernet ports and have the same ESSID would suffice for a small network with Dlink 900 APs.
