If you take a look at all spec of all the cards on the market they all have � ratings, this is just the nature of RF. These cards
are truly 300mW and very soon will have 400mW radios. Also yes the FCC is and will certify the cards but as you stated these are not
to be used in laptops, for example, where the radio is close to the body.
look at the "bright" side ... if with high output cards all over the place, pretty soon we won't need lightbulbs anymore - everything will glow in the dark.
